Organization Program: Educator

 

During the season, an organization must manage multiple files, and some are sometimes overlooked. The moral support, individual coaching and problem solving encompassing the personal life of the athletes are examples of situations neglected.  These elements are very important because they can affect the well-being of the human beings that compose the team.

 

Why do you need an Educator?

• Because coaches and administrators are out of time!

• Because a small detail can positively affect the life of a human being!

• You need resources!

• You want to offer your athletes the opportunity to unlock their door to greatness!

 

What are your responsibilities in this mentorship program?

• Support the program.

• Plan and authorise three team meetings during the off-season.

• Plan and authorise a weekly team meeting during the season.

• Authorise personal meetings with players.

The Starfish Story:

A man saw a young boy picking up starfish that had been washed up on the beach and, one at a time he was throwing them back into the water. The man asked the boy what he was doing, the boy replied,"I am throwing these washed up starfish back into the ocean, or else they will die through lack of oxygen. "But", said the man, "You can't possibly save them all, there are thousands on this beach, and this must be happening on hundreds of beaches along the coast. You can't possibly make a difference." The boy looked down, frowning for a moment; then bent down to pick up another starfish, smiling as he threw it back into the sea. He replied, "I made a huge difference to that one!"
